If you're including off grade cans, then Time doesn't make the cut. I think I've still got several of them in my trade stock.

Ever seen a shiny Time? What a beautiful can! I'm not a cone guy so I'll bow out of this thread now ...

The HP burger Ale from the 50's. This is the white can with the green oval in the center. It is the companion to the white and red beer. I only know of 3-4 examples total. Apparently the one in the book is a flat converted to a cone. A serious Cincinnati collector pointed this out to me.

Good call Chris! This can really falls below the radar to the casual collector in terms of rareness. The only one I ever saw was the one that Bob Kates had before disbanding his Ohio collection. Chuck Henry's fantastic Ohio cone collection is still missing that can. I'm guessing Norm has an example. Not sure where the others reside. Of course the flat version isn't really a slouch either.

The HP Gold Seal from Silver Springs is exceptionally rare and what few are out there are all locked up. The Buffalo HP cone is a bit of sleeper that gets overlooked but there are many rarer cans out there.

The Frankenmuth from Kentucky is certainly tough....I've upgraded twice and have seen 2 indoor (that were not available). The tougher version would be the one with the Kentucky Brewing info painted over with a black line and Frankenmuth Michigan info squeezed in the yellow beneath. I only have seen that one in dumper (genrally bad condition) and only 5 or 6 at that.

Why drive 12 hour one way to dig Pre-Tax Tru Blu ales, Genny 12 Horse Longopeners, Gamecock Ales, Apollos, Neuweilers Bock, and Krueger’s Baldies when you can locally drive 10 hours round trip and dig Pfeiffer, Goebel, Drewrys and Strohs?
