I'd have to say 50's. That's about all I find. Plus there seems to be good variety here with that era.

Re: What is Your favorite Era of Beer Cans?
I'm partial to cans of the 50's because that's what I can find around here, and because I love the colors and graphics of that era. I'm also quite fond ofthe art deco cans of the 30's, but I don't have nearly as many of those.

Re: What is Your favorite Era of Beer Cans?
Those are some beautiful cans Marc, thanks for posting. I am fan of the prewar cans as well, just so much more graphic and have designs that really fit the era. Plus it was an interesting time historically for beer cans sandwiched between prohibition and the war years. The removal of some of the German stuff from cans in the 30's was an interesting read.
If I had to narrow it down further I would say the 30's California cones are my favorites.

torn between pre-war with OIs and the art-deco designs, and the 1950s with the colorful sets. I also have a softspot for the mid-70s cans which I was so excited to collect then....

I love graphic cans, so that runs from the late 50's to the end of the straight steel can.
Cans like: Russer, Snow Crest, Colorado Gold Label, Schmidt & Pfiffer scenes, Pearl and Pearl Draft with the Texas Hill Country scene, Hochberg, Schells Hunter's Special, etc.

Super impressive Leon, seriously. Altes, however it's pronounced, you have it.
Love seeing all the variations, signs, etc. Lot of years to gather all of that, I am sure!
