[ I've never seen nor heard of a Molson Golden or Golden Ale "steel" can exported to the USA, the Molson can in the OP seems to be a Canadian domestic can from between 1965-1975... I haven't seen the "body in the basement" show... had someone in the show been to Canada via NY, h...

Re: American Brewers Journal Aug - Oct 1937 Highlights
Yeah, Horton was the other NY brewer. Ballantine's date codes can be read off a clean can bottom, looks like they packed them the week ahead of Memorial Day weekend in 1937. Matt...plenty of Horton beer ads in 1937 but sadly not one mention of it being sold in quarts.... as a side note I'm curious ...

So the ad says New York but likely meant the NY area since in newspapers ads Ballantine of New Jersey indicated on Daily_News_Wed__Jul_28__1937 that they are the first to introduce quart beer cans

Three tough Florida cans finally back home together in Tampa.... The 12oz and 14oz cans were added to the USBC online supplement but not the 16oz. One would have to assume that there is a Milwaukee "Super Softop" but I never knew the one for Tampa existed until recently. 20230712_145154.jpg
