Dean, There are a few collectors of these. Although I no longer actively collect them, I have around 500 different ones put away in storage. They sell on ebay generally in $5-$15 range, although there are some older labels that will sell for as high as $100. The use of them for donors depends on whe...

Rich,
The 9A's are almost impossible to find. I've seen only 3 available for sale in the last 10 years.

I'm selling a large Chicago flat top collection. I thought that I would start to post some of the pictures here. Letters A-B at this time. The condition on these cans is really good. Its more difficult than ever to find 10 oz. donor lids. The supply of unused lids seems to have dried up.
Your most economical route for donor lids is 10 oz. Canadian soda cans on ebay.

Interesting Leinenkugel's Flat Top Variation
I thought this might be of interest. I recently purchased the Leinenkugel's flat pictured on the right. When I compared it to my shelfer (on the left), I noticed that the head was slightly different, particularly the jaw and lips.

Randy, Here is my two cents worth: Do you soda can collectors list soda cans similar to beer cans, and similar information such as bottom opened, wide versus glued seam, one versus two faces, steel versus aluminum, pull/zip/flat/cone, can manufacturer, etc? If "list" means "describe&q...

I saw this too and asked the seller for some additional information (i.e. domestic or foreign). I didn't receive an answer, but noticed the auction had ended overnight. I googled the brand and came up with a number of hits with 1950's bottles from New Orleans. I also saw a Canadian Brand without the...

Dave,
I thought that it might bring even more than $560 as I recall one that went for close to $1,000 about 5 years ago. This is the 5th one that I've seen and I would guess the population to around 8-10.
