What a great read...I Just loved his story about dumping and his life.
My favorite line and I quote....Dumping alone is like going to a wedding and the bride does not show up. Well said Dave! It is my loss that I never knew him and you Michigan guys are so lucky.

Re: SCORED A CHICAGO HOLY GRAIL !!!
Nice score. Is that the third one known? Good question. The best known example that is pictured in the USBC book was found in Iowa at a antique store for like 7 bucks back in the late 1970's. The 2nd one I am not sure of the history. I really hope this is number 3 and what a great score Brent G :sm...

Nebraska is a agriculture state based mainly on farming...This can tells it all from the 1930's..and as well today.

Here are two exact cones in basic same condition. On Grade. The can on the right has a light blue face but the back panels have the dark blue color as well. Is this a faded front? I would like to re lid this cone and add to my collection but there is not one shown in the BCCA book but I have seen sev...

Who produced the first cone top?
Every one knows or think Schlitz was the first cone top produced as that was all the adds say. I sorta agree that Schlitz was the first but not the one that created the first can on the market.. I think Heileman's was the first cone top produced. There are 3 or 4 cones with out the IRTP that Old Sty...

Growing up in Nebraska the Schmidts scene cans were so cool. But I like this one better. I got this one for a song and on grade. Just 22 bucks and asked the seller If he had any more and said the only one. He was big into sports cards and coins. It was a very very impression collection. I guess you ...

Since you said you have had this can for 20 yrs and LOVE IT I would not sell it. If you need the money I get It. If you want extra money to buy other cans than I get that also. If later you have seller remorse (and I have) you will have a hard time to aquire another one. I bet every Rusty Bunch memb...

Wanted MASH beer can...I am serious
A co-worker of mine collects MASH stuff and wants one of these cans. I checked ebay and these cans are way over priced. I know they are 1.00 dollar cans at best and this guy also collects Star Wars stuff and comic books...What a nerd  Maybe 5 cans that he can make a pyrimid or a 6 pack or may...

Re: Rarest cans by state - has there ever been a list?
It is this can from Nebraska. A small Brewery that produced just one can in the late 1950's . The Storz Farmer and Winterbru flats from the late 1930's are sexy and get top dollar when for sale but this cone is hard to find.
Just saying....Brent G

About 10-12 yrs ago I was looking for a decent Buffalo OI. and asked Mike if he had any traders. His answer was no. No traders. About 3 yrs later he upgraded his Buffalo OI and just sent me this can in the mail and left a note that you owe me a trade. I was floored as he sent me his former shelf can...

At $65.00 per can this is a no brainer. Worst case is that you sell the 5 cans for $400.00 and that = free can. But you should do better than that.
Good luck.
