Re: 8 oz. Mule?

looks like a paper label. Woody The online supplement picture shows Mule 225-30 clearly as a paper label with creases at bottom right. Only one picture, just the front. The shallow pockets picture shows the lid, which appears to be a Coors 8 ounce lid. A paper label Mule on a Coors can? Fantasy can?

That 1933 Oly has been relisted at the same $250 that no one bid, no higher, no lower. Some where on that "gem" is the copyright 1933 but not shown in the dazzling array of pictures. from Item description from the seller: This antique Olympia beer can from 1933 is a real gem for collectors...

A good source is the Wolpe Catalog from 1988 has a field that denotes the can companies as well as variations of different can company symbols and plant locations (such A-23 or CCC77) as well as cans with no can company identification. I collect variations of Carling, Ruppert, New England cans (and ...

Re: Worthingtons Pale Ale glass sign help

HRH the Prince of Wales is now King Charles of England. The sign is most likely from the 1970s-80s from which Worthington was also imported to the USA. On the plus side it has breweriana value, and also has English monarchy value. The downside is big, heavy, low demand and high shipping costs. Price...

$60,255 with buyer's premium added. That probably got the under bidder to shake his/her head.

Would be a good idea to ship that trophy with extra bubble wrap in a heavy duty thick steel box and get a tracking number too.

Re: DISCUSS EBAY RESULTS HERE (post auctions in reference section)

Found it on eBay. 61 bids, $340. Some of these supermarket store brands can be very tough. I'm not bothered by the bottom lid, Eastern and other contract brewers had flat tops, insert tabs and odd bottoms thru out the 60s well into the 1970s.

Re: Hudepohl gallons: which is which?

Looking at the supplement isn't one metallic (short) and the other enamel (tall) but hard to figure out the height between the two. Also, looking at the supplement, there are 39 gallons (one of which is the Burger 1/16 bbl) and only 3 of them have a 5 panel view (244-11 Gettelman Bock, 247-1 Walter'...

The 1953 Yankees won their 5th consecutive World Series that year. Which was a MLB record and probably will not be equaled again considering all the expansion teams, extended playoff rounds and free agencies of the modern age. I believe is just Minnesota. Champale was sold nationally. Other states did have alcohol percentage requirements. Answers from google questions: In fact, Minnesota is the only state with a 3.2% beer law. With virtually no market for 3.2% products outside of Minnesota, many manufacturers have opted t...

Re: Green Ale Cans

It probably started in the USA northeast states and cities with large Irish, Scots populations.

Irish, Scots, British preferred ales over lager.

The easy assumption was that green was ale and whatever other color (mostly blue or red) was lager (German) beer.
