Re: 80's and 90's aluminum

Those Bears cans should be around. They were starting to come out at the time of Canvention in 2015, and I picked up some of the blue cans, since that was what I could find where I stopped in the Chicago area. Point being that some of the sports can guys or the current can guys from the Chicago area...

That is a fantastic job restoring that Coors. Nice to know that cans like that can be restored to their original glory- or at least close to it.

Are you seriously chasing the ten ounce cans or more the 7's and 8's? I have a lot of 80's 10 ounce cans, some 90's, some 70's, some rust, to trade or for sale or whatever if you're interested.

Re: 80's and 90's aluminum

As we continue to add cans to the USBC II Supplement, we are finding a lot of early 80s cans that were missed. Our cutoff for the supplement is ring-tops, no sta-tabs(unless they were already in the book). To find these, I have been looking in the cheap cans boxes with a lot of success. I am also t...

Re: Silly Side Collection Has Grown

I have that Coy in 12oz. It's my only aluminum can. Have had it since my dad bought it for me at a show in the 70s. I didn't appreciate it until later in life and even more since his passing. Didn't even know the little one existed.😎 The 10 ounce Coy exists because the guy behind the brand was a lo...

Okay, since nobody else has said anything- what's up with Johnny Aho? Hoping that nothing bad has happened to him. Hoping he just missed because he couldn't get out of work.

if those pictures are indicative of the kind of stuff that appears at this show, I have GOT to find a way to make it one year!

I need help from one of our Hamm's experts to find a date and pricing for this glass I found today. I know it's probably nothing special, but you never know. The bottle is there to show size.
What bottle???

I’m surprised Icehouse is on the list. Haven’t seen that in years.

Michelob ultra and bush light are BIG with my age group of beer drinkers.
Icehouse is common here as a cheaper beer. Mostly found in 12-packs of bottles or 24 ounce cans.

Interesting that Icehouse is not everywhere.

Here is an ad from when Regal in zip tops first appeared in the New Orleans market. This appeared around July 4, 1963.

Re: Beer Can Appreciation Day

Beautiful collection, and a fine job representing our hobby. I have one question: WHAT is that Dixie next to the Dodger? White can with "Dixie" in the middle of the can. I don't think I've ever seen one like that- and I've known a couple of serious Dixie collectors that had just about everything Dix...

The past couple of years, they have sold them all in the same pack. Are they doing that again this year? I wish I could find out before I leave for Omaha. I will not have Saints cans at Canvention after getting torched by them last year. I expect that they will because they did sets last two years

Can't believe we're less than a week to Canvention and there are so few volunteers for the table. Maybe if this thread was on the general discussion page? I would do more if I could- it all depends on how fast I can run out of stuff to trade or sell.

Bud Light NFL can question

Does anyone know if Bud Light is planning to release sets of NFL team cans this year? Need to know before I head to Omaha. I want to get these silly things right just once.
