Re: East coast dump - can list
I guess I'm a little late to this party. Some amazing labels you have dug there. In my opinion the rarest can you have there is the Edel Brew! Not only is it a spectacular label to find yours looks in really nice shape too. The PON bock of course are no slouches along with quite a few others. I spie...

I found a dump full of cans like that but thankfully they were common genny bullseye, ballys and other easy cans.

Re: A few days in the Adirondacks
Oh yeah you did find some! We used to find them every once in awhile but very few cleaned up nice. That does have great color too. What is it with smashed cans not rusting? Seen that quite often too.

Re: A few days in the Adirondacks
Nice! I always loved digging rupperts as there are a ton of small variations. Those are the genny bullseye cans though, the patriotic cans are usbc 68-30. The bullseyes come in irtp and non irtp so check the backs. The bank dump picture reminds me of a big dump near Newcomb NY. Crappy deal on the ne...

I've seen way more LP ales than HP's over the years. The dump KB is talking about was a real fun one to dig. I wonder if anyone ever went back being i don't think we finished it completely.

I used to have a rule, if it could stand up then it would go on the shelf. I broke it once for the top 2/3 of a kent ale and possibly another time too. Sorry no pics but i had some god awful specimens on the shelf at one time.

Indeed nice score. 99 out of a 100 times when buying tab collections you end up with endless Pittsburgh brewing cans, mash, JR, billy and if you're lucky you get a Harley Davidson can.

Re: Genesee Zips , fans, and tabs and question
KB we have dug 12 horse zips more than once but never more than a couple at a time, at least ones worthy enough to bring back. I know i used to have fan tabs of the naturally more refreshing to and it would have been something that we found as well. Just went rooting through to see what i have left ...

Re: Day late and 130 dump trucks short!
I’d find out who the trucking company was that hauled off the dirt and ask where it was taken to. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It would be taken to a landfill for disposal. They wouldn't just dump it somewhere else. Also just about every dump that's out there the EPA would deem toxic if they ...

How does wax permanently alter a can? Wax can be removed but you might want to be careful what you use to take it off. A de-greaser that is safe for the paint is all that's needed.

Leon do you have one of those bore scopes that hook to a phone? Might be able to see through the slot with one of those. How old is the sticker? Period to the can age? There is no zip code for the tavern address which is strange.....
