Re: Unknown Unpictured Ballantine flat top?
Leon, The PA 57-58 and the PA 58-59 in my opinion are the most common of all the Jaycees cans. They come up the most online. Hard to say value, but on grade maybe $75, grade 2 $35.00. While 2 of the NJ cans are super rare, the NJ 60 -61 is one of only two known to exist. That value though is only a...

Re: Adelphi Genuine Lager Beer?????
Just a theory here. anyone think its possible that those could have been paper labels made for a joke? does anyone think they would have made adolphs beer during that time frame? it looks like the labels dont go fully to the top and bottom but it could be just bands on the label too. Also the tops ...

Nice collection!! This one was unmarked but with a Neuweiler Brewing company lid. I just display the "gray" emergency cans. I'm missing 7 of the ones in your photo but have 4 varieties you don't show

Re: Post office charges go waaaaay up!!!
I guess the one consolation remains rationalizing how relatively little it costs to have someone pick up your letter or small package at your mailbox or porch and carry it across the country and place it in someone else's mailbox. Not a heck of a lot else you and buy for 55 cents anymore, and your p...

Re: Costco has discontinued Kirkland Signature Light beer
I tried it a while ago only because of the potential bang for the buck factor. It tasted so bland that I had to add salt, hot sauce, Kool Aid powder, anything to give it enough "character" to keep me from dumping the whole carton.

Re: Ballantine JAYCEES Addition?
Great collection, Farmer! First I knew of a Vermont can. Now I wonder if there could have been a Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Delaware can as well, based on the states listed on the 16oz mug.

Thanks for the photo! I only have five of them as well. I envy (with frustration) the owner of the eleven in the photo. The OD scared me at first!

Ballantine JAYCEES Addition?
While looking for examples of the Ballantine JAYCEES "Roll the Barrel" bank cans to complete the set, I found this 16oz "mug" that I hadn't seen listed before. It would be the mate to a similar 12oz version.

Re: Narragansett Ale Tab
The ale with the dark green Narragansett logo and green ALE is the tough one, as long as it also has the GREEN SHIP. The same variety with the BROWN/GOLD ship has been getting $$ action on Ebay recently-- perhaps out of confusion because it's a lot more common than the green ship version (one of whi...
