Re: Found my oldest largest dump

Thanks Daniel,

Your Schlitz Lager variation is:
"This Beer Does Not Contain more than 4% of Alcohol by Weight"

That's would you would expect in Alaska, but you never know. There's lot's of other alcohol variatons on Schlitz.

That's good stuff Daniel.

Can you see an alcohol statement on the Schlitz Lager LP? It will be on the right side panel at the bottom.

Thanks,

@keithker

Looks like you guys are having a good time!

Pretty sure that is a Horton Ale LP.

@ThreeRing

While I think it would be awesome if it were a Breidt's Ale, I don't think so. Here's pics of the Breidt's. It is prewar.

That's a cool sign Jim!

Looks like a light oxalic bath would remove some of the stuff.

I've also had good success using Flitz on signs like that.

Re: New Bohemian Club LP Variation Found

This variation has been discussed before and is in my composite.

Here are my cans. Had these for years.

I've always felt that the pre-war pats applied variation is a little harder. Funny how both mine and Matt's are the better condition ones.

I'd like to see Conehead's can again.

Here you go Marc. Mine has the big problem on the right side, but the display is pretty nice.

Re: 500 Active Members !

What I find even more amazing is the percentage of Rusty Bunch members that have stayed members. We have issued 1366 numbers, 500 are currently current. That’s 36.6% of all past RB members still current! If we apply this to the BCCA, it’s no so good. Estimating their last number issued is roughly 35...

Hey Don,

Nice grab on that can.

There was a thread about this can when Matt first found it. I assume he was able to upgrade it.

I know Mr. Upsidedown has a couple quarts.

Re: Rainier black-out cones from pre-Tahoe dig

The short-lived Federal Alcohol Administration (1935-1940) issued an FAA Directive in late 1936 or early 1937. The Directive instructed brewers to remove U Permit numbers from their labeling and provided brewers several months to comply. Major redesign of beer can labels occurred during 1937 and 19...
