Re: 1965 Schultz gal kegs

I have a few, my dad collects John Deere tractors and several of them had these beer kegs rigged as gas tanks. I know most of them were Schlitz.

Thanks Rand for getting me started on OI's. You were one of the guys that got me going as a young collector. I appreciate all the info you've given me and the cans I've been able to snag. Truly one of the best in the hobby.

I believe they make 60,000 gold Trophy cans each year. And of course the label changes each year.

Similar to the Keystone can hunt finding the orange can each year.

My first guess would be that it is an error can, but it also could be test can. Although I've never seen one.
It's probably an error can in my opinion.

Interesting top for sure. Put it with the rest of my Anheuser test cans.

Anheuser Prop Cans

I recently found a guy in my home town that used to photograph for Anheuser-Busch. He had a lot of the cans he photographed still and said most of these cans were unreleased. All of them are either air or water filled. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180213/847ec6bf4d1b449fd812e559c6d559d1.jpg Wh...

What is the story on the 2 toned Olde Frothingslosh can, purple and silver? Can you post some more pics of that one, front back etc? Could be interested in it. Thanks, Baxter BCCA877 RB282 IGU31 The purple frothingslosh is faded, it looks to be that it was in the weather at one point. https://uploa...

Little local collection acquired

A lady dropped off this little collection to us today from her husband recently passing away. My dad has done a lot of service for her so she just said we could have them for free. There are a few really nice flats but mostly local commons. Either way, I love little collections like this one. https:...

I've had these cans for a little while now and I see them on eBay go for around $35-$50. I know it was a limited run but I don't get why people are paying that much for these. I'm not sure how many are in the set but I know there is more. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171018/707ed4f4915691431e6...

Lone Star "glass" beer can?

I was rummaging through my matchbooks today and found on the back of this Lone Star matchbook that it advertises a glass can. It looks like a crowntainer but I doubt this matchbook is very old. Does anybody know what this is or have one to show? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20171014/43827cfdb752...
