@foreigncanman is the KVAS a FT? Rare?
It is a tab made by Isenbeck and not really a beer from what I understand. There is some debate about this .Maybe 100-200 in value. Tom

Interesting a German KVAS can ( a malt beverage made from bread ) is in the mix. (near the Leinenkugels in case anyone wondered what the can was)

why would someone need to remain anonymous? The BCCA have hit teams to cull out whistle blowers? They need a membership for those who want old school paper newsletters and those who want web newsletters. The only tri9cky part with that is if many members opt for the web format the cost of printing ...

interesting because the can was an indoor can white Rainier. If I ever see it again I will take a picture. I was always intrigued by the date on the can. Defintiely a nice indoor can and from what I remember clearly stamped.Tom

I have seen a flat bottom white Rainier with 1 16 35 pn the bottom (or Jan 16 35 cannot remember) This would predate the sale of the beer (can)Tom

The oddball malt duck has a few difference but flavoured spelled with the u is very noticeable. Perhaps meant for a Canadian market but no French. The apple malt duck has flavoured with the u.

Re: Question: First $10,000 tab?

The aging of the hobby may not change the top end/ At that end we need a small number of serious collectors. I doubt a foreign tab even OCOC will be likely to go that high because foreign cans in general see for much less based of their rarity in comparison with US cans. The top end would be more af...

I re-upped back when I retired in 2006. Got my original number back...no fee involved. Thought I could get caught up on the Hobby through the magazines and such. I've been an outspoken critic of the organization since them. At least until the current "new" website surfaced. They definitely are on t...

Re: BCCA Renewal

The BCCA in the future is what we make it. I agree on the idea of a discounted membership eroster e magazine perhaps could cut costs to half . This would be especially good for overseas members due to shipping costs plus most of them don't attend convention. With the great work being done with the w...

Good questions! Not sure how much I can help with these, but … The Class book for Canada says the Heidelberg with "Product of Canada" at the bottom are unique, but I wouldn't vouch for that. Re: Rolled Cans

Sometimes rolled cans are the only way available. Other times there are test cans. I would take a 1- original over a rolled can. Some would n ot collect them at all. There is no absolute consensus way of pricing these cans but often 25-50 percent depending upon availability of original cans.

Re: We will be busy for a while

Thanks for not using the gallons for target practice. Enjoyed the new acquisition. Those western cans are often good even as upgrades as many of the gold foreign cans esp German seem to tarnish. Tom
