SIX RINGS by Lord Hobo Brewing - Very Limited Edition

Hi all! For all you NE Patriots fans out there, I found another great tribute can to Tom Brady and his New England Patriots. These are very rare like the Sam Adams GOAT cans. I only have a few available for sale, so I think the fairest way is to post on eBay. Here is a link to my active auction... I...

History & Scandal of the Harvard Brewing Company, Lowell, MA

I was researching the Harvard Brewing Company and stumbled on this amazing article from 2017. I hope this is not a duplicate posting. REMEMBER WHEN? Re: Cleaner / Wax

Hmm. No response. I was curious too. The best I ever heard of was Blue Poly (as told by Woody and the Can Dr), but you will be hard pressed to find this out of production product. Personally, I usually wipe down with water. Use Goo Gone for any sticky residue or stains. Then I use ICE Spray Wax (mad...

I would pay $10 for the water can if it is clean. I have about 3 different variations and I think they are cool. I think I have two different Boston and one Brooklyn.

Re: Post office charges go waaaaay up!!!

Yes, it seems excessive that they jumped 10% on stamps! It used to be 1-2 cents per year!. Shipping is becoming cost-prohibitive on these low priced items. I am selling off a large collection of DVDs, which thank goodness qualifies for Media Mail rates. Currently I can ship up to 1 lb for $2.61 and ...

Thanks for sharing! What a great look back at history. It must have been considered a great marketing achievement to have "self opening" cans. I wonder if the average consumer got excited by the NEW technology? I would think they did!

Re: Antique Mall Consolation prize

As for your Shell can, there is no zip code which indicates it was from before 1962/63? In addition, the use of the word INFLAMMABLE was typically switched to simply FLAMMABLE in the 50s and 60s, although I could not find an exact conversion date for that.

Nice colors and my first job was for an ARCO station that became a Shell station. I may have bought it too rather than go home empty-handed. I had the pleasure of visiting the Heart of Ohio antique mall in Springfield for almost 4 hours one day a few weeks ago and STILL did not finish the building!!...

This is one of those "Opportunities of a collector's lifetime". I will be in Dayton, OH this week, but sadly it is still a 10 hr drive to Cabot! I have had the privilege of cherry-picking a few collections and it is great experience. I wish I could help you by helping myself, but I don't think I can...

The guy who bought it is named Franky Mitton and lives in Salem, MA. He just posted on Facebook. I think he is some sort of antique collector, etc and says this was the first can he ever bought. Lucky SOB! His pics on FB make the can look even nicer. WOW!

I must admit, whenever I hear about flooding, fires, tornadoes and hurricanes one of my first thoughts is "what about the beer cans?" or any other similar collection. Most people are smart enough to seek shelter and most home furnishings can quickly be replaced or upgraded, but those beloved collect...

Bob, Nice job! One thing I would suggest adding is an example of a few dumpers, maybe a before and after. I have always recommended propping up the dumper or off grade cans because this may encourage someone who has less shine on there cans that there cans are good too. I remember when I first join...
