Re: Blatz pink Christmas or 007 cans for sale

@Wrestling Nut Dang $850 back in 2018 was a great price Just think of what they would get someone today.... Funny thing is, I had trouble selling these at that price. That sat unsold for a while. I think they were eventually moved on Facebook at a small discount. I knew my price was reasonable and ...

Re: Looks like the breweriana auction sites are back...

Yeah, it’s frustrating for all involved. Also, with most of the shows shutdown, next to no sales on classic beer can sites, and fakes all over eBay these auctions are becoming increasingly popular. I know it’s the auction company and not the beer can sites themselves but it’s getting harder and hard...

Re: What Is The Rarest Can In Your Collection?

Another great thread and thanks for starting it. As I’m sure many are aware, it’s very hard to narrow down the rarest can to one can in your collection. If push came to shove, I think this is mine but I’d probably change my mind if you asked me tomorrow. ;) One of these was available at the Macungi...

@keithker I don't use Facebook so this might be a silly question. Will people know how to find this without a link? I will admit that I was late to join FB. However, after seeing how often FB stuff was referenced on this site I decided to give it a go. Had my wife help me out. I've got to say, it h...

Re: When will the money run out?

I spoke with someone the other day and explained what is happening with can prices and the auctions. He wasn't surprised at all. He figures that with the widespread availability of these auctions someone with money got interested then got a few others involved too. These wouldn't be can collectors p...

Draft beer can by Maier on Ebay

Unsure what to think about this one. Sold on Ebay. I pulled up a former one on Worthpoint which is off grade but original. The one that just sold on Ebay went over $800 but it's not the same. Not saying its fake neccesarily, might be a prototype or something but its definitely not the same. Notice t...

Re: Rainier Jubilee ZIP top help

Isn't that kind of cheating? Rolling a zip tab on something that could be a flat? Can easily double the value if not 10X more on something else. :smt017 I am in agreement with CapSealed. There are a bunch of cans that are worth 10 times (or more) as a zip than as a flat and the cans themselves are ...

Great work Keithker! In very short time you have managed to take the BCCA out of the 20th century and into the 21st. It's only 20 years past due but all we can do is move forward with what we have and not dwell on past failures.

Three cheers for Keithker!

Nothing really was in my wheelhouse so I sat on the sideline. The can surprised me was the Narragansett Lager split label, wait for it......FLAT TOP. For years I keep hearing over and over about how can tab collectors justify spending big money on common flat tops with a different lid. Always implyi...

Not certain. My apologies if I'm incorrect. It looks like it was taken down now. Thank you.

Unfortunately I can't fit the entire thing in a single screen shot but I took two and have provided them here. So everyone can see what I'm referring to.

The first auction we ran, we got murdered. We took a huge loss on our cans, but I believe that auction set the tone for future auctions. To this day, I still have people say what great deals they got from that auction (Edward Hicks). Dan B Ahhhh.......yes, that first auction. "Beer & Soda ...

USBC 2, tabs. While there are several lines with 2 or 3 great cans there is only a single line full of them. I see some lines I'd like to have (actually quite a few) but there is a clear winner here. 82 line 4 is quite nice and might even be 2nd place but it's the line right below it which is the ob...

This has probably been done before but things are a bit slow and I'm interested. So here goes, if you could own the cans in any one row in either USBC book which would you choose? I'm thinking horizontally but you may vertically if you choose.

I just assumed Dixie referred to the south because of the Mason-Dixon line. Being south of Jeremiah Dixon's line meant that you were from Dixieland. Who knew the French had anything to do with it?
