Maybe it was an error can when first painted? Then someone decided to do a paint over to save the canning stock. Could be some more out there??

Lone Star Handy Keg Gold Can Question ??
Here is a question about a Lone Star pull tab can for all of you experts. (especially the Texas guys). Lone Star produced a Gold colored version of the Handy Keg Draft Beer can. It was some sort of a promotional can that was from the 1,000,000th Barrel in 1965. Were these cans released all together ...

Re: Canventory to Excel File Transfer Question
Thanks Guys for your responses. I was able to export a CSV file and then open it in Excel using the character | as the column divider. I was then able to obtain a fairly complete spreadsheet file of my collection.

Canventory to Excel File Transfer Question
I know there are some in the Rusty Bunch that use Canventory software to catalog their collection. I think I remember a thread that mentioned that you can transfer the information in the Canventory software over to an Excel spreadsheet. Can anyone confirm if that is true? And if anyone knows how to ...

Re: Pfeiffer 9 can scenic set rareness rating
I would rate the Pike can the hardest, followed by Dark Sailboat and Skier. The other six are probably equivalent to each other in rarity. This is probably the best looking set ever made. They are somewhat hard to find, which makes it a fun set to put together. By the way Leon, That is a great looki...

Re: What database do you use for your collection?
I use Canventory on a Microsoft Surface tablet. Works good and the pictures are invaluable. Wish it could run on Apple products (have Macbook pros for most computing needs). Like SeaMonkey said - works great so you don't buy same can twice, and is a good tool for comparing upgrades. Contains all his...

Rand, Very impressive collection that you assembled. It will be interesting to watch the auction unfold. As for other collecting ideas, I’ve always enjoyed collecting set cans. The chase of trying to completes sets has been cool and challenging.
Good Luck in any and all future endeavors.

Guzzle and Twirl in St.Paul is very close to the same timeframe, so getting upper midwesterners to travel to Ohio will be tough.

Re: Miss Rheingold set or Blatz Christmas set?
I collect Minnesota and Wisconsin stuff, so the Blatz set is my easy answer.
I know the light blue and pink cans are the tough cans in the Blatz set (which makes that set really challenging). Is there more difficult to acquire cans in the Rheingold set?

Re: 12 oz. Green Gluek’s Stite Malt Liquor Can
I would say the can is rare (but not impossible rare) in high grades. I’ve had 3 on-grade examples in the last 10 years. The picture below shows the nicest one I’ve had (my current shelf can). When I have sold my down grades I have gotten between $150 and $200.

Looks like a nice collection with some cool variety. I would be interested in the Schmidt Extra Special flat if you’re selling it. I agree with Leon, get all of the tabs checked out by someone knowledgeable. Could be some sleepers in that bunch. Good Luck. PM or Email me about the Schmidt Extra Spec...
