Re: Solar Glasses
We were clouded in for the October event, so far the forecast for the 8th of April is shaping up to be better but clouds are hard to predict, hopefully I'll get a chance to use them this time.

Recently I was out at a local flea market, came home with these bottles, smithsbottles.jpg With this new info I've been able to determine that a Mr. William Smith bought Cold Spring Beverages from an ailing Elmer Ott in 1951, renamed it Smith Beverages. Cold Spring had the contract to bottle Pepsi f...

Funny. I was thinking about getting rid of my soda cans- I have a bunch. Need to downsize so these are available. Talking to you Tinman….. Found this Charlie’s with dull gray lids, looks like Jay’s example. Think the humidity has turned the mortar brownish on his. Mine is bottom opened! Found in th...

I'm going to guess that it has a bank top?...most of the ones I've seen do..... I'm not exactly sure of when they came out....70's??... From what I understand this generation was a last ditch attempt to regain some market share, Wilson's were sold to Crush International in the mid seventies and gone...

Just curious Tinman... of the 2163 built, how many had the rumble seat? I'm a Ford guy so I'm just wondering. Did they only build the roadster with a rumble seat or could it have also been built with just a trunk? If so, it could be more rare than the numbers you shared. Whatever the case it's a da...

What is Sick Week?.... Well, if one was to throw the Baja 1000 and the NHRA season in a blender, you will get Sick Week....Here's how it works... During a five-day rally, drag racers in everything from decommissioned Crown Victoria's to Hot Rod Firebirds cover over a 1000 miles of public roads, visi...

It's always nice to be able to get some leisure time while travelling for work, My dad flew pipers cubs quite a bit while keeping up his pilot license in the early sixties, he always commented on how slow they were.

That is a cool car. I know very little about cars, but I like it. A tad of the history.... WP Chrysler bought the failing Maxwell and Chambers brands in 1926, two years later he introduced the Plymouth to compete with Henry's recently introduced model A. In 1928 first model was "Q", follo...

Hard to tell from the pic……the can on the right…… the green is a tad lighter on the tree and writing near the top. Could just be a uniform light ink application, but it looks different. @bantam10 Those are sure a nice pair, What type of trailer do you plan on pulling? I've owned a couple of stock blue oval pick ups over the past 40 years and had good luck with them, except for the Canadian road salt.

I was at the Hockey Hall Of Fame here in Toronto helping management sort out the thousand or so cans that had been donated to them over the years. Here's a few autographed hockey cans that a fellow collector has accumulated, He attends a lot of the card shows where you can get autographs for a price.... Perhaps he should've got Dennis Hopper to sign his Harley Davidson 5 liter... I've seen quite a few of the Black Label Boston Bruin cans from ...
