Picking Through the ashes

Has anyone else caught the latest episode (S21-EP1) of American Pickers titled "Picking through the ashes", they pick a mill that burnt several years ago in Butte Creek Oregon. Not much in the mill but the owners house across the street is very full and extremely well displayed. Although they don't ...

Re: International Brewing Co. Tray

I made it back out to the antique store that had the tray and it was still there, the lady would not negotiate but since I was paying cash she wouldn't charge me tax. I asked how she abtained it and she replied "my husband brought it home from an auction" Once I got it home I took a damp cloth to it...

Re: International Brewing Co. Tray

I did a quick search of the International Brewing of Buffalo and really didn't find much, Only thing I found was that it was in operation in 1897. I have a hard time believing that the business was only around for one year.

Would anyone have any other info regarding this brewery?

I'll be heading out that way (an hour and half N/W of us) again next week, so I'll stop and see if they'll accept a lesser offer and if not, I'll step up and pay the asking price. Appreciate all the input.

International Brewing Co. Tray

I saw this tray in an antique store, I'm not up on American trays but it does appear to have some age. Asking price is a bit heavier than I would like to pay on a hunch. ($150.00) Any help would be appreciated.

YES The book lists a four city and a couple can company variations for the five city. We always suspected that there was a three city (to go along with the Black Label) but in all the collections that we went through doing research for the book we never found a three city. Congratulations!

Not to hijack this post but with more states legalizing marijuana, and craft brewers such as Blue Moon starting to infuse beer with THC, by next year the topic will be nothing like a little "Killer Weed" in your beer instead of "Weed Killer" in your beer!

Re: Regal Breweriana group

There seems to be quite a bit of Regal stuff from Canada, so I thought I’d put a time line together for the brewery that would eventually became Regal Brewery Co. Ltd. In 1873 David Kuntz opened a brewery at 19 Bay St in Hamilton Ont. In 1879 that brewery was taken over and renamed H Kuntz Brewery b...

We have no plans for doing any reprinting in the immediate future.

Thanks to all those who supported us on this project.
