Hey welcome aboard the Rusty Bunch!
I personally have no extra Fanta cans at this moment. So are you collecting all world wide Fanta cans?

Re: Pepsi Cans

@VNV ...say on that 'New' can is there any tiny numbers along the seam, that'd be the plant code, sometimes you need a magnifier to see it.

Re: Pepsi Cans

@VNV Hey Michael thanks!...I just checked the diet Pepsi section, now those cans are in there but not in those variations ie: the participaction can is an extruded vs your steel 3 piece. And the 'New' can posted is a glued seam vs your wide seam.

Well that's interesting! It appears to be the 1966 label style, It is a pull top right?...but an older style PT?
At this point I can't see that being a common practise....probably far less common than the painted version!

Yea I see how different the style of a glass can really is!... it's seems to resemble a cone top the most.

@MI-Cans @bantam10
Thanks fellas!...come to think of it I have two Old Milwaukee's like this.
I don't think the soda bottler that advertised using these ever did so....and if they did they would have been short lived because none have ever surfaced.

Oh I see, but it seems odd a pop bottler would use these...especially in Canada. That’s what I was thinking. The bottles from that specific bottler are probably a little different than the traditional glass can. I edited the top post to show the packages they used....but it just has me stumped..lol

Evidently this bottler was floundering and went bankrupt by the end of 1963.

Glass cans?

How many of you have heard this term?...I am assuming they are referring to cone top. This is an ad I discovered last night doing research for Lucky Strike Bottling Works Ltd. It's from The Vancouver Sun, 10 Aug 1961. They were solely a soda bottler. Lucky Strike-Mission Beverages- The Vancouver Su...
