Re: 2019 Soda can’s

That's a new Shasta 12oz generation - not sure what order they fit in, but based on the US cans, the writing below the label appeared on the last mountain generation. Yes I believe it came at the same time we introduced it in 10oz cans (1962-1963) that had the print below the label...1964 on was 10...

So I just noticed my Cola contents mandatory are different than what's in the guide for the 12oz orange and cola.

Re: 2019 Soda can’s

Oh yeah!...those are great, I don't have that Mason's Fanta Lemon-Lime or Canada Dry. I have the Shasta cola but not as decent for condition..mine is pretty roached on one side, and readable but lots of fade on the other.
Is the writing the same on the seam for the Shasta?

Update to Howdy in the CSCA

Well this will be the first update to the archive for 2020. Last year at some point I acquired a photo of a Canadian 10oz FT Howdy, and as it turned out it is a new generation!...in fact probably the first gen. So I had to revamp the generations and bump them all down one, fortunately there are not ...

Re: A goog start

Nice pick up so far. But I do have a question to ask you. What special about the Dr.Pepper can?? It is because it a 10 oz ? Yes at a glance it looks like just a regular late 70's early 80's. After 1964 10oz was the norm in Canada. What makes is special for me for one it's a variation I didn't have ...

A goog start

A few of my recent additions, 2020 is off to a goog start! The Wilson's was particularly interesting as it is a 12oz can, not common at all because by 1964 they were phased out in Canada. The diet Cott had 14 flavors in 1973...this is one of the elusive ones!..well actually most of them are!😁 202001...

Re: Some Canadians common?

oldcrowncollector These are pretty common, with the exception of one that is less common, the Canada dry and Cragmont have little value. The best would be the Mountain dew,...in better condition it's 10-15. The Pepsi in top condition 8-12. The Coke radio can ( another I don't have yet) comes in mat...

Thx
Well out the Pac-Mac series for whatever reason this is the most common. I'd say in the $5- $20 Cad range...so $15 USD tops.

New additions to the Canadian Soda Can Archive!

So I have just added some great cans to the Hires, Kik Cola, America Dry, Denis, Gurds archive! In the past I've posted the can ID that was appointed to each one along with individual pics but it's just too much work and since I have the cans in my possession it was much simpler to do a group photo....

Pepsi paper label

Just got this one in, It's a Canadian 10oz Circa 1975 pull top. But this is something I've not run across on any soda cans I have to date..., It's a printed paper label!!! So it still has the American Can Co. mark on the side. Its pre UPC but does have ingredients listed in red ink instead of the us...
