Re: Soda can collection

Area 52 is the dumpster. No these are keepers, I think these or 99% of these are pre zip code cans.

Re: Soda can collection

O.k so here is what was done with 5000+ cans. I figured Dave and Tom would do what we usually do with Aluminum and Crimped steel beer cans......DUMPSTER. Instead Dave and Tom loaded up 5000+ cans and they are being stored in a warehouse near Indy, these are going to be give always for a possible sod...

Re: Soda can collection

In all honesty, we usually do throw the aluminum stuff in the recycle bin, and crimped stuff in the trash. So far according to Dave (I don't know soda cans to well) the best can so far is a paint over 12 ounce Twang, if we can get the black paint off, it will be a stunning example. About 300 flats, ...

We picked up a 10,000 can soda collection, as you can imagine lots of stuff going to the dumpster. Dave and Tom are still going through the collection, some neat looking stuff.......

Glenn Heinz has a actual newspaper ad showing a pallet of soul 8 ounce cans being ready to be shipped out. This is actual photos of the cans, not artist renditions.

Re: Question: First $10,000 tab?

We have both the malt duck apple and the tough grape cans for sale, will post pics later. One tab that I thought could bring 10k is the Soul 8 ounce can that was rumored to be at least produced (maybe never filled) the soul cans always had this mystique about them, always a strong selling can too. Re: English lad find

Found in a fire station while remodeling 30+ years ago, kept the cans in his garage in a Harvard wood crate. Says he would kick the box of cans around when they were in his way. Filled with sawdust from his profession, he finally decided to get rid of them. Owner was planning on putting them in a ya...

Re: Why is this ABC tab going for $410?

We have never had the ABC Ale tab from Chicago, I don't think I have ever seen one? Maybe the Nelson Brothers have one? It's funny how 007 cans will go for $1000.00 but a ABC which is so much tougher will sell for $500.00. I know the 007 cans are more desirable, but just going on rarity there is no ...

That is the correct top for a ccc can, I was the second bidder on that can, it's a really tough can to find that nice. The enamel variation is much tougher.

Re: New Yorker Rubout

We picked up a full one from New Zealand about a month ago, upgraded this can from Gene Judd's collection. The can we sold to Gene has a New Yorker Beer underneath. We suggested to Gene to get this one rubbed out, as we can tell there was a New Yorker under the paint. So we sent the can to Dahms, an...
