Re: BEER CAN LAMP THAT YOU CAN TAP!!

You know what I was thinking....??? what would go well with a beer can OI lamp??? Maybe a chair, to sit in while having a cold one.... you know, like maybe a white horse OI.... LOL I wonder if the lamp maker made the white horse OI chair a few years later? They certainly would go well together... Neil

Re: Is this Monkey Stink Jonny Aho being sociable in 1992.....

Yes!! That is John! 1992! I was there. It was at an old "HoJo", (Howard Johnson), at the Packer chapters "Tittletown" show. (Also, that is RB member Don Lewinski sitting next to John, with the Rusty bunch t shirt on). I'm not sure, but I think that is Stan Borgstrom (facing away) sitting next to Tob...

Re: Random facts for New Year when did you join RB?

Started collecting as kid in 6th grade, then quit in high school. Started again as an adult in 1990.
I joined the Rusty Bunch in 1991.
Very glad I did.

Re: East coast dump - can list

Hey Ctbott1, Holy cow!!! That is an impressive list of cans. I would love to see the pictures. Just a heads up on some of the "common" cans. I always check the older Schlitz flat tops that are 1946 & 1949. I have found w/f cans several times, ("withdrawn free of internal revenue tax paid"). Look to ...

Re: Low-Pro Cone Top question

Hey Brent, I think the right one is just slightly faded. As you said, from the front they are identical. It looks like you have 153-18, or 153-19. I can't tell you which one it is, without seeing the backs. 153-18 is DNCMT 4% (does not contain more than) 153-19 is MT 4 1/2 % (more than) If you can't...

Leon- You are right about the fact that you sent payment late! 4 and a half weeks late! Saying that you are busy is NOT a reason, just a bad excuse. The other can that you were going to buy from me- you NEVER sent money for! Nor did you ever say why. SO, I've learned from experience, NEVER send a ca...

Leon,
Good thing you're at work.
That will give time to come up with some "sort" of explanation as to why you screwed this guy who dug these cans!

You should have paid him at least ten times the $60 you gave him!

Quit your whining!!!

Re: a few flat tops

Hey Bryan,
Sorry, no vanity lid.
A '30's bottom lid means that the bottom has a lid you would normally see on a 1930's can, with only one indent, instead of two, like you would normally see on a 1950's (or later) can lid.

WOW!!! Most of these final prices just blow my mind. I mean absolutely no disresepct to Mr. Morean for having these auctions. He's doing a great job, (and laughing all the way to the bank.) I do however question the sanity of many of the bidders. I just do not understand the prices people are paying...
