I think the going rate for that can in about grade 1- to 2+ is about $100-$125 so you did good. I think I paid $125 for this one about a decade ago.

Re: Schaefer Mexico

That's pretty cool, look how dark the beer in the glass is. Nothing like Scheafer today.

BTW, Mexico is the only place I still see Scheafer for sale. It's sold here as a super cheap beer in cans only.

Got set to Ohio for work so after I got here I went to an antique mall. Found some cool signs and other stuff. I never saw the Ballentine as a TOC before. Not sure if the stienie is real either. I bought the primo out of the dollar box because it suys "Hawaii brewing" on it, which I thought might be...

Love it!!! It's a crazy coincidence that this is coming out at the same time as the other Billy from NC (http://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=44891&p=383351&hilit=billy#p383351). Re: Def Leppard Beer Can

These just showed up full in a liquor store near me. Guy said the distributor dropped them off in flats and gave him a roll of six pack rings to pack em up himself. Pretty cool, can't wait to drink em and see if it's any good.

Billy beer is back

Got this short run craft can in a trade. They changed the name to "Billy's" with the story being that a "Billy Goat" had it brewed up special just for him. Wisely, they decided just to use the name and not recreate the exact beer. The beer in it is actually quite good, it's a New England hazy style ...

I'm glad you got that can Wiley. When Mike walked up with it, all you could see was a spot of the blue the size of a pencil eraser by the seam. He was grinning ear to ear knowing we were in the right place to find more. I think I like the story more than the actual can. That's just the quintessenti...

Mike was a great guy. Fun to hang out with at shows and I had the pleasure of dumping with him a few times. I got this Silver State from him. I don't know who this is but if you're going to post an auction in direct competition with the one I have up, you need to take your own photos and not use mine. If you're on here, knock it off. Lazy! (and reported).

...... any chance you are coming up this way for Rush to the Rockies? That would be a lot of cans to haul up! There's about 30-40 (maybe more) foreign gallons from the 70s...is there any of them that could be rare? They are a serious space eater! Some guy in Sweden had me help him buy a "Hansa" gal...

Although the can doesn't show it, he probably has his pants 3/4 below his A$$ crack, holding them up with his other hand, and his leather boots untied or un-buckled....
