Well ain't that a kick in the head. Could have used the blue TV BBQ. It is one of two that I am missing from that set. Timing is everything.

Re: Thank You, Mr. Bora!!!

Big thanks to Mr. Bora! That was a lot of fun with the number of rooms, the PMs and e-mails going back and forth, and I was able to buy, sell, and trade. Big thumbs up! That has to be the best online show that I've participated in.

Hopefully it will lead to a resurgence in local can shows.
Agreed, but don't forget about the Advertise Section here on this site. Fees are getting crazy between eBay and PayPal and now sales tax.

The crown is original to the can and is included . . .$30 includes shipping. 2 dollars a piece for the 16oz craft cans. They are bottom opened and in very good condition. I'm p...

Re: What should represent the year 2011 in the BCCA 85 years of canned beer project?

Mobile canning allowed the small craft/micro brewer to get their product on the shelf. Shrink wrap, sticker, painted, they are all ways to label the can. I'm going with mobile canning. No sense labeling the can if you can't get the product in it.

Going with the growler on this one. I just don't see the 360 end catching on. It reminders me of a pull tab, only bigger. What do you do with it once you've opened the can?

Here is the other time someone asked about this can. Looks like Charlie was talking about the St.Paul one. Also, seems like I remember someone mentioning a "From the land of" version from somewhere other than St. Paul at one time. Anyone have one of those? https://www.therustybunch.com/phpBB3/viewt...

I would agree with chasing a ghost on the zip tab from Northern. As for the flat from Cold Spring, I'd say it is legit.

Any Suggestions on Soaking Crowntainers?

I've got a couple of crowntainers that would benefit from a soak. No serious rust here, indoor cans with what I would call rust stains. I had planned on using a weak solution with room temperature water. On flats and cones I'd use citric acid, but with crowntainers maybe oxalic is the way to go. Any...
