I have those. I believe there is a Withdrawn Free variation as well. I'm assuming you know that there are long-opener variations as well

There is a fifth Ortleib's Americana Can for the Fairmount Trolley. It was likely never filled and sold, as I've only seen the can a couple of times, and I don't have one. I've seen one for sale for around $100.

I think John Page still has a lot of the cones in KC area collections to redo or get pictures of for the first time. They've done the bulk of the flats in that area for sure.

Re: Status of USBC Supplemental Updates.......An incredible effort

Eric Claussen (sp?) built his own photobox and was able to submit pictures of hundreds of 16oz. cans that are now on the site. The boxes the supplement guys use have a turntable that is attached to a laptop to reduce the time required to take multiple images. That build would be a little trickier.

(drivable, from Maryland). Also, box was at Portland. Committee likely would need a west coast volunteer prior to considering building (and buying) another photobox.
I volunteer to help in anyway that can be useful.
At the last board meeting, Jim Wolf indicated that what he needs most of all would be additional people who can crop, edit, etc. the raw images into the defined format for addition to the supplement. I am also sure that Jeff Gallowa...

Re: Pabst Zips Oddity

Leon, I used to think that as well, particularly with respect to the cans from Hammonton and the seemingly infinite varieties of lid and bottom combinations available on some of their cans. I've been led to believe (and seen pictures showing this) that the zip and pull tab lids were shipped from the...

Jim Wolf is working this hard in the tab section of the USBC online update. Fixing errors, taking more pictures, and updating the wording. This is a long term project, however.

Re: stamped number cans-

I bought a collection once that had numbers like that stamped on the cans and bottles in the collection. I think it was the collectors method of keeping track of what he had. Luckily the numbers came off the cans with wax. No such luck on the bottle labels.
