Re: Holy Grail Wisconsin Can! Holy Smokes! Best Known!

Story I heard was that it was taken right off the canning line by a senior manager (of either Miller Brewing Co. or the can company), who displayed the can in his office for many years. It was then passed down to his heirs, one of whom eventually sold the can to the most recent owner/seller some tim...

Don't take this the wrong way but....... Is it rare ? yes. Is it cool ? very ! I'm not taking anything away from this can. If you have the means, great ! If I personal spent 5k on one can without having a 7 figure annual income, well lets just say I'd be splitting my humble tab collection with my w...

Facebook Don (formerly known as "Meister Brau Don") would be a good person to speak with regarding MB set cans. Also some other very knowledgeable individuals named in this post. Don't forget the Peter Hand Reserve cans (2 sets) and Chicago Drewry's set cans, as well. I will call you "collect" . . .

Re: GOOD START TO 2019

Flattop....need about 9 Chicago flats and one cone. Very soon I will be left with the impossible ones and then start on the series cans. This should carry me into my old age and they are attainable but up to now I thought they were to expensive given the amount out there. Some Chicago set cans are ...

Woodgrain Keeley flat top from Keeley Brewing Company, USBC 87-19. There's a clean one pictured in Phil's "Great Chicago Beer Cans" book (black & white photo, circa 1979) . . . This could be the same can or he might still have it (meaning there's another on-grade example).

Re: DITTO PHONEY $250.

Agree with Leon's comments. Should say "REPRODUCTION" or "REPLICA" in the listing, not in the accompanying fine print. The magic marker added to the bottom of the can could easily be removed with the right cleaner. The seller did update the listing to indicate it's a different can underneath. Nevert...

Re: LETS SEE YOU FAVORITE FIREARM

My Uncle had something similar when we were kids. He put a shotgun shell "blank" in the cannon and attached a line so he could fire it from several feet away. The explosion was so loud that the neighbor's dog literally dropped dead (probably from a heart attack). Exercise caution.
