Bantam ( spell check changed you to Batman!), don't blow them out....you worked hard to find them...enjoy the stack of them for awhile. Ask yourself, if someone gave $40 to go out and dig one more, could you? Probably not....trade them for something equally cool is probably your best bet....

Re: RIP Mike Murphy

I remember when Mike went to California and was supposed to meet Fred & Hal at a pie house in the Sierras and they were going to take him digging. But they found a pit of Lisco FTs and no way were they leaving and blew him off. I lived in the San Francisco area at the time, and Mike called, said he ...

Mike was an awesome guy! He came to the first Albuquerque Roadrunner Chapter show back in the early 80s - that's where we met him and Scott Rollert. We did some killer trades back in the day and I got one of his best Silver State Beer cones too. He will be sorely missed!

Here's a couple photos for Rusty. That last camp we stayed at, Dale & I dumped there in June 2005. We found a pit of Wilshire Clubs right across the road! It was over 100 degrees that day too. The RUSTlings story was called "The Dog Days of Summer."

Why is it I have a feeling there's something about the Acmes. Why bring back all those CA cockroaches?
You take what you can get....have to dig them all out in case something good is mixed in with them. Plus they a great age indicator.....means you are in the right area....

Re: Unknown? Unlisted? or just a Schlitz...

I found them in a pit of mostly Oly zips. I almost stopped digging because there were so many Olys. Then I uncovered 3 or 4 Rainier Jubilee zips and a cool 15oz Hamms soft top from San Francisco. Good thing I kept digging. My brother didn't have this can which is why I thought it might be a good one.
