Dan, Just saw this thread. Thanks for posting the background story of where/how they were found. The cans are fantastic but the story is so real. Imagine the firefighters drinking these back in the day on an off day or after a hard days work. Maybe there are more cans in that fire station or others ...

Looks like my two are the same mandatory, Andrew. The metallic is "Brewed and Packed by Gipps, Chi.."., a Continental 75 can. The enamel is "Gipps Brewing Company, Chi..." , National can and a paintover of an upside down Budweiser. Are all enamels from National paintovers?
