Good catch on that red spot Joe. The only way I’d go the rub out route was if I was guaranteed to get a New Yorker. Don’t think that’s what’s under there though.

That seam looks very familiar. I was thinking about soaking it in lemon juice, but I think I’ve changed my mind.

I just picked up a very nice 66-13 Fox Head 400. This is the enamel blue and silver version. The only examples I’ve had previously were dumpers. Looking at this new one, it appears to be a paint over. Does anybody have one of these with a clean seam that they can share pics of? Thanks in advance

In my opinion, Both the black and blue are less common in enamel.
