Re: Krueger Quart

As a quart specialist, I can tell you the second can is the super tough one of the group. The rest are obtainable if you aren't too particular on condition but you will have to do some looking. The last one is the easiest of the group and is readily obtainable at most big shows, at least in the east...

Re: Essies

In my humble opinion, the key one there is the silver can with the red stars. That one is very tough and probably the all red one would be my second pick. They are all nice, but none of them I would call mint or Grade 1. For the group. I would say $300-350 would be a fair offer for the group. Chris E.

I will see if anybody from my area is driving out. If so, I can get a box of presentable dumpers together to send along.

Re: Time Left: 1 Day(s) 13h : 23m : 12s Get to the Good Guys auction site and bid....

I thought a number of cans went for less than I would have expected. There were a few that went higher and of course they were the ones that I was most interested. Overall, I thought it was a great auction, but I thought it may have come a little too soon after the close of Dan M.'s auction which ma...

Since I have a Red Wing and don't have an Arrowhead, that scientifically proves the Arrowhead is tougher.

Re: Kansas City renovation find.

As far as I know the 1940's or 50's or even 30's whiskey bottles have very little value. A lot of Bottle collects don't like bottles after 1900 & some consider them mostly worthless after 1900. But many Valuable bottles are from the early 1900's. LEON. That is kind of what I was thinking too. The c...

OK, I went back to Sweeperman's original post and I see it was from Fehr's. I guess I will go with a store brand unless somebody got the real story on this one.

Re: Kentucky cans ranked by me! Your help needed

There has been a thread on Facebook about this can. Yes it's the same can only one known. I got to see it up close and personal back in June when he was shopping it around. Makes you wonder how many more unknowns are still out there..... So you think the can is the real deal? When I saw it I though...

Could be, but it is certainly a shame that "the casual collector" didn't have enough sense to retrieve the entire collection. No telling what else may have been in there or how many cans were lost forever.

I had a fairly decent collection of flats back in 1962-1963 (20-30 cans) when I was in the 3rd grade. When we moved a couple of blocks over in May, 1963 I got talked into not taking them to the new house. I would love to see what I had back then.
