OK, spent the entire winter thinking about this, analyzed all the data from every angle …

I'll go with Chris Buescher in the #37.

Mine came from a 2007 wall find in Chester, PA. I got first choice of the four cans found. The find also included six Wolf's Beers, four M.C. Beers and a Silver Dime. My goodness … what, did someone decide in 1941 which couple of PA cans would be the toughest to find 70 years later and then sewed t...

Sort of reminds me of the National Parks quarters we have in our change now … very cool idea! Now why hasn't A-B or some other brewery tried to imitate that and put out a can for each of the 50 states?? Too hard to get permission and/or pay each state for the privilege?

I think an outdoor show in Minnesota is a great idea. But I do hope that if you ever have it scheduled on a day with weather like you had last Wednesday through Friday or so, you strongly consider cancelling the "outdoor" part …

This seems like a can where if you follow eBay every day, you'll probably have a chance at a couple of them over the course of a year. I picked one up that way a few years ago, but can't remember what I paid. I do think these are a lot easier to find on-grade then dumpers--don't think I've ever actu...

Re: PABST CANS. Peoria Heights..FINALLY DONE !!!

VERY impressive, and quite a feat to say you've completed a grouping like that. Congrats! The old Wolpe catalog (the computer printout version) listed a Peoria Heights can like 110-12 (silver with gold stripes at bottom), but with "TapaCan" below the label somewhere, or maybe in the bottom band but ...

So, exactly how tough is the Keeley Beer 87-19? Judging by the absolute beauty of the others and this one being pretty far off-grade, got to be a real tough can, right? I certainly don't have one …

I like the ugliest can idea. We always think of the best-looking cans we'd love to have in our collections--how about the homeliest looking can instead, the can that never got asked to the dances?

In July I managed to escape work for several days of digging. Like the proverbial blind squirrel, I stumbled across a large pit that had quite a few pre-war Golden Glows. This was the best of the bunch. Not too shabby for a dumper that's been buried for almost 75 years. Golden Glow.jpg I cannot BEL...

Seems to me that someone will always be willing to take the straight steel cans, even if they're common. If you offer them for the shipping, I'm confident someone on the site will take them.

Does that white Mann-Chester in the upper right happen to be a flattop, with original lids? If so please save it for me!

I have 28 different Bud OI's, including a few not listed in the book, but this is not one of them. Not one that you see much and it stands out from the others because of the patent information (not a "dots-around-the-bowtie-thingie" variation). Super nice condition too! The $1000 is a nice one too, ...

For what it's worth, it took me a LOT longer to find the Skier than all the rest--I had a complete set except for the skier for quite a few years. Let me ask a slightly different question … how do the dull gold/metallic gold cans compare? I seem to see a lot more of the metallic gold than the flat g...

That can was actually shown in the Beer Can Collector's Bible from the mid-1970's, can #1673. I've never seen another one and it certainly didn't make it into USBC (didn't check the online supplement). It does look like a legit variation to me. Nice pick-up!

I sure didn't see that one on eBay … GREAT pickup! It's listed as R-10 in the Lilek book (one known), and while obviously there are a few more than one, it's not a lot more. If the great Rand Lindsley never saw one before, enough said!
