How can you positively tell if a can is clear coated or waxed. Does clear coat devalue a can?

I talked to Dan yesterday and he said they were going back to the original format. He tried this as an experiment but there was a lot of confusion.

Anyone have suggestions on how to remove glue residue from stickers on lids? I tried acetone. Although it worked, it left the shine "cloudy." I tried Avon "skin so soft" and that works but it take about 30 minutes. Thanks.

Did flat tops come with a steel weld or was this type of seam too new for a flat? I noticed a Kingsbury flat in the supplement (88-12-5) with the "zipper" seam.

Wonder what the Jos. Schlitz version would go for?

How much does a cleaned or buffed cone spout devalue a can?

I wrap all my cans for shows to protect them from handling in and out of totes but am easily willing to take them off for the buyer. Many times the buyer will ask to leave the wrap on to protect it while shopping.

A lot of good stuff there.
