Nice job Marc. I'm impressed that you knew where these came from. However, these came from barn 29 in 1998, This is what I got.

Re: RIP Dave Lang
Sad news travels fast. I just babbled on about my friend Dave, but it did not post. Those that know us knew we where buddies of dumping, beer, and just friends. My name, Can Dr. was a gift from him. I am tired now, and will post again about some of our follies, but for now I ask a toast. I'm looking...

Is Tom selling? I see the Brockert pale quart, and I thought that would have been his? It has been a long time since I was at Tom's, but a great collection. I hate seeing these old collections being sold.

There is an antique label from a division of Schlitz of Hawaii on ebay. You said Stroh's, and may have meant Schlitz. Just looking to help.

Okay, I was waiting for this to come up on this page. This can was in Martin Landey's collection. I'm not exactly sure of the year, but it was after Martin had his first heart attack, around 12 years ago. I was contacted by local collector Wayne Ronn, who was contacted by friend Jim Stempleski, and ...

I'm not sure if that is a picture of mine, I have posted it here before, but I did get it off ebay probably 20 years ago.

Sorry to read this. I have known Charlie for a good while now, shared many beers, dumped with him, and just enjoyed talking with him, especially about the beer industry on the Federal level. I know we have not been seeing Charlie around as much as we used to, but I did not think this is what I would...

Re: RIP Brad Meister
I can't say I knew Brad well, but always enjoyed seeing him at Blue/Gray. I saw him as a quiet guy that loved beer cans, always steadily moving around the show adding cans, and occasionally taken a moment to talk cans, and then back to the hunt. After the break in the regular Blue/ Gray I never saw ...

Is that the glue at the top of the can? Any attempt of cleaning, or trying to remove anything from a can: glue, plaster, concrete, etc. I recommend starting with warm water, then hotter if needed, and no harm from the warm water.

Paul, Check with Larry. I just spoke with Don Santora, who was told it was sold out, but he called Larry, and was told there was plenty of rooms, and Larry got it straightened out. Also when Woody called he got the same thing, but he called back and we got our room. I don't know if you know Don, but...

Re: Old Topper Snappy - White Lettering - USBC 178-6
Kurt, Read your post, what is the difference between the spouts on the yellow, and the white? I have all three cans and could see no difference in the spouts on the toppers, but possibly a straighter line on the Bruck's. I'll look through my stock, I may have one, but do not know if it it white, or ...

Here are two Wagner paint overs, nice and clean. The can on the left has a cream label and the can on the right has a white label. I don't see any listing of the differences, and it is not smoked as the Wagner's was not, but clean and white. Marc, I was going to pm you, but thought I would just post...

This came out of an estate sale. As for the story, it is fun when unraveled from the Sunday at 9AM open that I pulled in at 10:20 Saturday night to place my name on the list to enter. I ended up establishing the list, so I was #1. A nine hour stakeout to protect my place on the list.

About six months ago I gave away the complete set, with extras. I got a call almost a year ago from a kid, " hi my name is Grady I'm in 4th grade, I just read your add for beer cans, do you have any to sell"? I loved this call. I always keep the straight steel cans or others that are neat ...

Russ, I 'm bumbed I never got to your totes, I would have picked off the variant in a hart beat. However, I happy for you. I would have actually picked it up knowing I did not have it, but also not knowing how tough of a variant it is. I Guess that I sometimes get complacent just making sure the sho...

Great can! Woody you are the man, knowing how to work a can. You have no option at the can yet you open the conversation, invite him over for a beer. Most likely nothing more will ever come of it, but you did your job. I do not know how many stories I have heard where they see a lead, but leave it a...
