Enjoyed a day drinking day of watching and placed a couple bids but internet bidder got me .. Matt or Aoody or Keith know how he came about the golden rod ale ? I’m well aware of his BEER from his famous Conifer dump .. but the ALE ! I’m pretty sure a famous rusty mid western guy has an ALE. As wel...

Here's the best of the dumpers I've seen. Mark brought it to Frankenmuth one winter, and it has great color.

$60,255 with buyer's premium added. That probably got the under bidder to shake his/her head. Would be a good idea to ship that trophy with extra bubble wrap in a heavy duty thick steel box and get a tracking number too. That's with 17% added - I expect it will drop to $58,710 when the winner pays.

$51,500 hammer - I thought it would go higher. Kinda feel like it should have gone higher. By comparison, it makes many other high climbers seem insane - a far superior can to others in this price strata. Until today, we haven't seen a can I thought was worth $30K sell in these auctions since Gene ...

I'll second the nomination of John Smoller. I had the pleasure of his company at a number of Blue/Grey shows in the '90's and '00's, and he's a prime example of what the RB has always been about.

Re: Perone Quart!

It will be interesting to see what happens with the Perone. Nobody has been willing to push anything past $50K at auction thus far. I can't speak for the quarts which have passed $35K, but the 12 oz. cans in that range would have sold for half or less just a few years prior. So, since values have es...

I can't find a write-up of the HOF criteria. Personally, I'd be inclined to vote first for those who have worked tirelessly to make the RB and/or shows more fun for others. Keith Kerschner is a no-brainer as far as I'm concerned.

Re: Morean auction results

I won six cans from Dan's auctions between April and November and was very happy with the prices on all of them. I actually thought we were turning a corner and that prices on a lot of stuff were coming back to reality. The craziness returned in a big way for the past three auctions. Fortunately, I ...

The best-known Class Beer is widely believed to have sold for over $50,000 quite a few years ago. If I recall correctly, it was originally for sale at $100,000. Another nice Kuebler upgrade, plus a couple Monarch Brewing Co. cans. It's been a good year considering how difficult the market has been in recent years.
